Wash the vegetables. Make 3 or 4 cuts to the tomato and peel the head of garlic. Cut the ends off the green beans and cut them into pieces (if they are frozen there is no need, they come ready to cook). Peel and cut the carrots and the potato. Drain and rinse the white beans.

Fill a pot about half full with water and add all the ingredients except the white beans. Put the pot to heat.

When the vegetables are tender, put them in a colander and mash them with a fork so that the juice falls into the pot.

Add the white beans and let them boil for approx. 15 minutes!!!!
