Cook the clams until they open. Set the clams aside and reserve the broth.

Fry the onion, garlic, carrot and bell pepper. When it is poached, we grind it all. Put it back in the pan and add the spices, parsley and bay leaf.

Add the broth from the clams, be careful! The bottom may contain sand. When it starts to boil add the rice and let it cook. If we lack broth, we can add water.

While the rice is cooking, we remove one of the shells of the clams, leaving only the one with the bug.

When the rice is ready, add the clams. Let them cook for a couple of minutes so that they take the flavor of the rice. And enjoy!
