When it is half done, add the sliced carrots, the whole garlic and the cheeks, season with salt and pepper and brown a little.

Then cover with water, close the pot and leave for 40 to 45 minutes.

After the time has elapsed, let the steam escape, open the lid and if there is any water left, let it boil for about 5 more minutes.

And ready to serve, I accompanied it with some potatoes.
