In a pan put a few drops of olive oil and a little water and put the spinach to sauté a little, just enough to soften. You can also use frozen spinach, then you only have to cook it a little bit to defrost it.

Drain the chickpeas from the jar and add them to the spinach. You can also use dried chickpeas, but you have to soak them the night before and cook them and it takes longer.

When everything is mixed, add a couple of spoonfuls or three of tomato sauce. I use canned tomato sauce because it is faster but you can also make homemade tomato sauce.

When it is well mixed, it only remains to add a pinch of salt and spices to taste, I add a lot because I like it very spicy and with little or no salt.
