Soak the chickpeas for at least 24 hours.

Mash the chickpeas previously soaked, uncooked, together with the onions, parsley, garlic powder and half a glass of water. Blend until a thick mixture is obtained.

Add salt, cumin, pepper, hot paprika and baking powder. Mix a little. Let stand for at least half an hour.

Add the bread crumbs and mix. Form the dough into small balls and flatten them.

Fry the falafel in EVOO for 5-7 minutes.

Serve with homemade yogurt sauce, cheese, seasoned tomato...
