Soak the dates in water for about 20 minutes.

Toast the oatmeal in a frying pan (without EVOO or anything else). Add nuts to taste (I added cashew nuts, walnuts, seeds and pistachios).

Crush the oats, nuts and dates previously soaked (you can add pieces of dark chocolate).

A manageable dough is obtained. Put baking paper on a baking pan or plate. Place the dough on the baking paper and give it a rectangular shape.

Place in the refrigerator for at least a couple of hours, until the dough hardens. Then it can be cut into bars.

ATTENTION: This is the most important step of all! Enjoy your real food bar 😋
