Chop the garlic and onion. Put both in a pot with a splash of oil for a few minutes.

Cut the potato and carrot into small pieces and add them to the pot when the onion is a little soft. Season with salt and pepper and add the desired spices and sauté for a few more minutes.

Add the vegetable stock and cook for 10-20 minutes (until the potato is almost done).

Now it is time to add the hake. It can be added shredded or whole and break it when it is cooked. Cook for 5 min.
