Preheat the oven to 200° on top and bottom.

Peel and slice the onion and make a bed in an ovenproof dish. If you want to put the pre-cooked potatoes, do it in this step as well and make the bed with the onion and potato.

Add a drizzle of chili pepper oil Place the hake, thawed the day before, on top of the onion bed.

Place the cayenne on top of the hake and pour a strong dash of EVOO. Season to taste with salt and pepper and add dill on top.

Cut the lemon into a few slices and place them on top, squeezing the juice from the pieces that we do not put on top.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and lower the oven to 180°.

We let it cook for about half an hour, turn off the oven and leave it in for a while longer (while the table is set and stuff) and it would be ready to eat :)
