Preheat the oven to 180°. Meanwhile we poach a medium onion in a frying pan.

Take out the puff pastry or shortcrust pastry dough and place it on the oven tray. In the middle of the dough, add the well-drained tuna and the poached onion in layers.

Spread a little tomato sauce on top and finish by placing the piquillo peppers on top (in strips or open).

Finally put the other half of the dough on top and close the edges by pinching them a little.

Brush the top with egg and bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown on top and the puff pastry looks done.

Remove from the oven and ready! Enjoy.
