Peel and chop the onion. Sauté it in a pot with a little oil over medium-low heat.

In the meantime, peel and wash a medium potato and cut it into pieces, mashing it so that it releases starch and thickens. Wash the cauliflower and cut it into florets.

When the onion is poached, add the cauliflower and potato. Cover with water, salt and spices. Boil covered over medium heat for half an hour.

Add the coconut milk and when it starts to boil again, remove from the heat.

Beat with a blender until smooth. If it is too thick, you can add a little more coconut milk.

Serve the cream with a drizzle of oil.
