These quantities are for 250 gr of dry sponge cake. The first thing we do is crumble the cake in a bowl, cover it with water and let it stand for 10 minutes.

After that time we put it in the blender with the chia and banana (In my case I did not put spices or sweeteners because the cake already had a lot of flavor, but you can add vanilla or cinnamon).

Then grease a baking pan and bake in a bain-marie at 170° for 50 minutes, or until it pulls away from the edges. Let stand 1 hour with the oven off and closed.

We take it out and let it cool completely. Then we can unmold it. It is very moist but the top is drier. I cut it into squares and serve it with peanut butter. I really like the baked oats. I hope you enjoy it :)
